Summer brings the opportunity to reflect on the achievements of this past school year and to relax and enjoy the season’s blessings. It also rejuvenates and inspires future planning. Since becoming President of the Catholic Community Schools in January, I have witnessed incredible achievements and a true “culture of care” among our students, teachers, and staff at each of our seven schools. This is at the heart of what you will see in this newsletter.
Care fosters a sense of ownership and belonging, creating strong relationships and enthusiasm. This environment empowers growth, innovation, critical thinking, and motivation, embodied in three core commitments in our Catholic Community Schools: Loving, Learning, Leading.
- Loving: Our students are welcomed into a caring environment daily, inspiring everyone to be their best.
- Learning: Students learn differently; and their educational journey is a personal one. Encouraging students to reach their full potential is achieved through differentiated learning and a whole-student approach.
- Leading: The impact of our schools is measured over decades and generations. Our students and educators alike readily contribute knowledge, experiences and values that shape and benefit our local and greater community, preparing for the next generation.
None of this is possible without YOU, our dedicated parents, families, and caregivers. Your love and care ensure that our students will continue to flourish and impact their communities well into adulthood.
In gratitude,
David Fremo
